Best pie crust ever

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup butter, cut up into tablespoons
1 Tablespoon sugar
3 Tablespoons sour cream
¼ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup ice water

Place all the dry ingredients together in a food processor until combined. Pulse until butter is the size of large peas.

Beat together 1/3 cup ice water, and sour cream. Pour about half the mixture into the flour mixture, pulse. Keep adding liquid until the dough forms together in a ball.

Turn dough out and divide into 2 pieces, flatten (but do not knead) and refrigerate for an hour.

Makes the best pie crust ever! Suitable for chicken pot pie, pumpkin pie, and apple pie.
