The different pieces of fabric remind me of the original projects - dresses my sister made, with matching scrunchies, a top that is hanging in my closet, the back of a pillow. Scraps made beautiful! I think the quilts are being saved for friend's babies that are due this year.

One of my new years resolutions is to become a better knitter - I'm going to use your craftiness as inspiration!!!
Quilts for babies are awesome. In fact, I am sitting in bed right now with three generations of baby quilts keeping me warm -- all from the same neighbor of my grandmother. (Who, at 96, doesn't do them anymore...my daughter's was pretty much the last one, but also the last great grandchild, so far.) I keep thinking I should put them in a box as a keepsake, but they are too cuddly. Call me Linus with them.
