CSA week 19

Eggs of course, savoy cabbage, turnips, kale, zucchini, a red bell pepper, two apples, and some tomatoes.

Any suggestions on what to do with the kale or the cabbage so they're not bitter?

Hope this isn't too late - last year I made a minestrone with kale - it turned out really good. I put in a pinch of sugar, so maybe that helped tame the taste.
