What a week!

My first week in the new job just flew by. Many adjustments to make... new space, new work, new people. I'm so used to being a high performer that the biggest change is that I don't know everything about my job for the first time in a LONG time. Max says it's the learning curve and he's right. I'm sure it will feel like home in no time.

A friend's birthday is coming up next week and so I started this hat for her the other night. Goes alot quicker without using the cable needle and so far it has been an easy knit.

1. My first day was quiet as I settled in... but I get my first project today!
2. My friend Cara got a new job too! Getting back in touch
3. I signed up for ISE6... just waiting to hear that I'm in.
4. I'm almost finished knitting my second Hodology. Should have new pictures soon.

The week of colour ends here with violet... though maybe at some point I'll do another combination like cyan, magenta, and teal. This was a good opportunity to use some pictures I had taken... some were from last month and some were from 2003.

Tomorrow I start a new job. It's a promotion at my current company and I think it could be the turning point in my career. That's all I'll say since I don't like to talk about work on my blog... but if I'm not posting as much in the coming weeks, you'll know why.

A week of colour

It's grey today, typical of winter everywhere, so I thought I would do a week of colour. Let's start with red:
