A couple of weeks ago, I cleaned out my book shelves (asking myself - and Max - are you really ever going to read this?) and made a pile of all the books to give away, donate, etc. Then I read about Book Mooch in Vegetarian Times magazine. Perfect!
I listed a bunch of books yesterday and immediately received several requests. So far I've given away four books and have three on their way to me. You can check out my inventory of books.

I'm on Crown Of Swords in the Robert Jordan Series. I'm so glad you sent me those first few books. I love the series but I've been seriously railroaded (is that even the right way to say it) with this book of the series. I just am having a terrible time getting into what I call the political part of the book... what city hates what city hates what people etc. Hmm. I did go ahead and buy it as an audio book with my audio club and after I finish Eragorn I'm going to try and listen to it. I don't want to leave the series! I just need a kick start I think to get back into it.
PS: You asked if I was in the new knitpick catalog. Since my move I haven't been able to convince them to send me a catalog! It's driving me nuts. But I did get a mass email from their advertising department and it showed my Memories of the Ukraine Sweater.
Heh, I recently cleared a whole lot of books myself. I have been using PaperbackSwap but will try BookMooch too.
