Heh, congratulations! I've emailed the gift cert to you. As for knitting books, hmm, what are you in the mood for? Maybe Vintage Knits or Fitted Knits?
Congrats! I loved Knitting Without Tears by Elizabeth Zimmermann. It's not a pattern book - it's a book about how to be a thinking knitter and I really credit it with helping me not be a blind follower of patterns directions.
I'd have to recommend Victorian Lace Today because it's one of the most beautiful knitting books and - well - I'm obsessed with lace! Congrats on winning the comment contest!
I just saw your link from harriet...my favorite recent book is 'Inspired Cable Knits' by Fiona Ellis...I see you have some cably things posted on your blog. It's a little expensive ($35), but maybe you can find it used (I got mine with a discount!). Next on my 'I want it' knit book list is 'Designs for knitting kilt hose and knickerbocker stockings', but i think this is a schoolpress offering.
Do you like socks? More Sensational Knitted Socks is brand-new on the market and opens up all sorts of possibilities.
Since you cabeling just now, you might also be interested in Cables untangled. I got it at Christmas and have really enjoyed it. The book offers a nice mix of things: commentary on planning/knitting cables, a number of lovely patterns, and a great stitch dictionary of different cables.

I have Vintage Knits and its pretty good.
I love "Simple Knits With a Twist" by Erica Knight. I've made the wire baskets from there and they're awesome.
